IN HOME CARE AIDE

Provides care to clients who prefer to receive needed services in their homes Service must be delivered in a reliable, compassionate, dignified and respectful manner and be in accordance with the clients choices, Agency policies and Industry standards. Care aids must respect and adhere to client's household rules. Report to Service Supervisor. Duties vary depending on the individual client's service plan. Assist with personal care activities including bathing ,skin care, shaving, mouthcare, toileting including bladder and bowel care , dressing and hair care. Assist with mobility, including walking, transferring and pushing wheel chair. Perform daily household task such as light cleaning changing beds, laundry,, shopping Prepare and serve meals clean up and store left over food Assist client with recreational activities they enjoy. Maintain a healthy and safe environment . Document clinical notes keep them safe and confidential Knowledge of clinical procedures such as maintaining records an completing forms.
