Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. CNAs play a crucial role in providing direct client care and assisting the client at home. Responsibilities: - Assist Clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities or changes in Client condition to the nursing staff. - Assist with Client mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment as needed. - Provide emotional support and companionship to Clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. - Help maintain a clean and safe environment for Clients, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines. - Document Client care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems. - Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective Client care. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program. - Current CNA certification in the state of North Carolina. - CPR certification (preferred). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. - Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and assist with Client mobility.
