Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Good verbal and communication skills. Skilled in interpersonal relationships. Ability and wiliness to work with diverse population, experienced in AFH setting caring for the elderly. With this position you are responsible for providing ADL'S & IADL assistance including but not limited to the following: bathing, dressing, feeding, oral care, toileting, ensure personal hygiene of each resident. Ensure safety of each client, maintain resident dignity and self respect, assist with ambulation using walker, canes and W/C, repositioning residents while in bed, maintain safe and sanitary and organize environment, use safety precaution to prevent spread of germs. Follow policy and procedures of the home at all times in accordance with WA State WAC's . Document accurate charting in residents records. Perform set up closing and activity duties . Make sure residents rooms are clean at all times.
