Full time caregiver position

Qualifications: - Active CNA(NAC)/HCA - Able to communicate in English (speaking, reading and writing) - Current TB (2 step Tests), CPR/First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Food Handling Certificates - Dementia, Mental Health and Nurse Delegation/Diabetes Certificates Current - Must be flexible (available every other weekend) - Must be self-driven and reliable - Must be team player - Must be able to multitask - Must be patient - Must have clear background and pass fingerprints checks - Experience is a plus Typical Duties: - ADLs for 3 to 6 residents - Housekeeping - Food preparation and serving; cooking/baking is a plus - Resident activities - Meds handling - Phone calls Ideal candidate will become (one or more): - Future nursing students (RN, LPN, etc) - Future healthcare field professional (Medical Assistant, Medical Technician, etc) - Future caregiver manager (manage Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides, In-home Caregivers in Assisting Living facilities, Nursing Homes, Senior Living facilities, Adult Family Homes, etc) - Future caregiver provider We offer: - Competitive Salary - Continuing Education expenses - More (to be discussed during the interview)
