STATE TESTED NURSE AIDE Job Description • Assists professional nursing staff in the care of residents • Works under the supervision of the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse • Transports residents from one place to another, including utilizing a hoyer lift when ordered • Assists nursing staff with barrier creams for skin care and vitals • Completes and documents care provided in the resident record that includes intake and output, bowel and bladder record, etc. • Bathes, dresses, combs hair, cleans teeth and cares for residents’ nails • Provides bedpans and urinals for residents • Makes beds • Feeds residents • Does other duties as assigned
