Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Must be able to measure or take vital signs. Must be able to clean or dress wounds. Must be able to reposition clients/patients. Must be able to lift client . Must be able to use a HOYA lift. Must be able to handle bedpans or assist to the restroom. Must be able to take care of perineal care. Must be able to reposition patients. Must be able to feed patients. Must be able to read nonverbal clues and be attentive. Must have good interpersonal skills and have good communication and empathy. Must listen attentively to patient/client and family in particular instances. Must have vehicle and flexibility.
