About the Role
A Place At Home – Towson is hiring a Client Care Rapid Response Specialist (Lead
Caregiver/Rapid Response). This hybrid role combines hands-on caregiving with office
support to ensure clients receive consistent, compassionate care while helping with
scheduling, onboarding, and caregiver engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Rapid Response Coverage
• Provide in-home care services on short notice (emergencies, callouts,
• schedule changes).
• Maintain flexibility and readiness to travel within the local service area.
• Observe and report changes in client condition, communicating effectively
• with the office team.
• New Caregiver & Client Onboarding
• Lead caregiver orientations and mentor new team members in the field.
• Assist with onboarding new clients, including initial care visits and home
• safety walkthroughs.
• Scheduling & Operational Support
• Collaborate with the scheduling team to fill open shifts and manage last minute changes.
• Support office staff in coordinating caregiver schedules to ensure proper
o coverage and client satisfaction.
Recruiting & Retention Assistance
• Participate in caregiver recruiting efforts, including job fairs and interviews.
• Support caregiver engagement and retention by providing field feedback and
• recognizing team performance.
• Training & Administrative Development
• Cross-train with office staff in documentation, scheduling software, and HR
• processes.
• Participate in internal training on compliance, client service excellence, and
• operational efficiency.
• Perform on-call duties, including answering after-hours calls from caregivers
• and clients.
Compensation & Benefits
• Base Pay: $18.00/hr ($38,000 annually)
• On-Call Pay: $50/weekend
• Total Compensation: up to ~$41,165 annually
• Vacation/PTO: 2 weeks paid, accrual up to 80 hours first year
• Medical Insurance Stipend: 40% of premium (max $175/month after 90 days)

Schedule
• General: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (with flexibility for evenings/weekends)
• Field-based with office support at Towson, MD 21204
Requirements
