Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant

Friends Companion Care, a healthcare agency in greater Los Angeles area, provides companionship and personal care to seniors in a comfortable environment of their own homes. We are hiring caregivers who have compassion to assist others in their daily activates. We are seeking full-time or part-time caregivers. Duties Our caregivers work one on one with our clients providing one or more of the following services: Provide personal assistance in day-to-day activities at home and outside. Provide personal hygiene care such as bathing, dressing and dental care. Mobility assistance with walking and other transportation needs. Assist with minor exercises. Drive to doctor appointments, grocery shopping and social meetings. Light housekeeping including meal preparation and laundry Remind to take medication on time Caregivers must be observant enough to recognize changes in their clients, and be capable of alerting the appropriate personnel if necessary. Qualifications: High School diploma is desired Previous experience working with seniors and desire to serve and care for seniors preferred. HCA certificate is a plus Must possess a valid California driver license and must own reliable transportation with active car insurance. Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule. Multi-lingual is desired. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old. Must clear Criminal Background Check / random drug screening. Must pass a physical and TB test. Must possess a valid California driver license and a car with current proof of insurance. Must be free from health problems that may be injurious to clients, self and co-workers.
