Special Needs Caregiver

Cornerstone Community, a nonprofit adult family home for special needs adults in Leavenworth, WA, is looking for a caregiver. This is a full-time day position that starts at 7AM and ends at 3 PM Monday through Friday. This is our primary caregiver and needs to do all the tasks needed to run the home. Cooking, shopping, helping with residents who need assistance with activities of daily living. Help with laundry. Organize residents' schedules to outside activities such as work. Administer all medicines and keep exact logs. The ideal candidate will want to work their way into a management and supervisory position over time. This position comes with a one-bedroom apartment in the home for the right individual or couple. (Will consider candidates who do not need the apartment, but the apartment is offered in exchange for sleeping on site from Sunday through Thursday nights and being available to respond to resident emergencies from 11 PM to 7 AM Sunday through Thursday nights.)
