Caregiver – In-Home Elderly Care

QUALIFICATIONS: • Completion of an approved caregiver training program pursuant to Federal/State law • LiveScanned and HCA registered with the state • CPR Certified • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray • Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile • Demonstrated ability to treat clients with compassion, respect, and dignity • Ability to communicate with clients in a professional, friendly, and congenial manner • Access to email to receive timely communications from the office • Must be dependable, responsible, and trustworthy • Must be at least 18 years of age CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: • Providing companionship and cheerful, positive assistance at all times • Assistance with transportation to appointments, activities, errands, and shopping • Assistance with transfers, walking, and physical activity • Planning, preparing, and serving meals • Light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, and vacuuming • Medication reminders • Assistance with personal care such as oral hygiene, bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing • Maintaining detailed records of services provided and client’s current condition BENEFITS & PERKS: • Competitive Pay - $12-$15/hr (or more) depending on skills, experience, and education • Flexible Shifts/Hours • Supportive Environment • Initial and Ongoing Training • Potential for Growth We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class. • Mileage Reimbursement • Referral Bonus • $12-$15/hr (or more) depending on skills, experience, and education
