We are looking for awesome, self-driven Caregivers who can work in these cities and surrounding areas: Camarillo Oxnard Ventura Santa Paula And surrounding areas Duties and Responsibilities: Provide personal care to clients as outlined in their care plans. Provide companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping (whatever it takes to help a senior stay at home). Adhere to providing personal care and help clients with their ADLs that is within the scope of practice for a California Registered Home Care Aide (HCA). Assists clients in all activities of daily living/ hygiene assistance, bathing, grooming, linen changes and so forth. Assists clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises. Meets the safety needs of the client and uses equipment safely and properly. Functions within the limits of own experience and knowledge, and practices safely and competently within the job description. Completes records and documentations accurately and thoroughly. (with path to full-time position) Home Care Aide License Holder (HCA, required by the State of California) Valid Driver's License Holder What we offer: Opportunities for career growth leading to leadership roles and additional training Competitive wages, $15 (one on one care) $16 per an hour (Facility) Requirement: At least 1-year of experience as a Caregiver (excluding caring for family) High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of Bright Moon orientation, training and competency requirements Must have Home Care Aid (HCA) License (Required by the State of California) Must have cleared criminal background check (Required by the State of California & Bright Moon) Must own your own vehicle and have a valid driver's license Negative TB Test completed within the last 2 years (Required by the State of California) Must be at least 18 years of age Must be available to work at least 2 weekends in a month Must have work authorization in the United States Other Skills and Abilities: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English (Spanish is a plus) Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Experience Managers when needed. Must have up-to-date smart phone with active internet service (e.g. Android, iPhone) Job Type: Part-time with the possibility of full-time
