Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) performs Home Health Aide services according to the plan of care established by the Nursing Supervisor. Responsibilities: includes the provision of personal care and light housekeeping services to patients in their place of residence, which may include their own home, nursing facility, inpatient units or other environments. The CHHA provides timely documentation of services provided based on the patient’s care plan with duties that may include: assisting the patient with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, personal and oral hygiene, feeding and dressing; assisting with exercises, ambulation, transfer activities and medications that are ordinarily self administered; and performing normal household services essential to patient care at home, including shopping, transportation, meal preparation, laundry and housecleaning. Skills & Requirements Proven working experience as home health aide Fully Vaccinated Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Caring and compassionate personality Current CHHA License Have own transportation Valid driver’s license, registration and insurance Updated physical, 2 step PPD, & MMR within the calendar year.
