Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
Caring Connections is currently hiring Certified Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) for full-time assignments, providing compassionate care to clients in their homes. We offer consistent long-term assignments with a focus on matching caregivers to clients based on location, skills, and experience to ensure the best possible fit. Key Responsibilities: Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities. Support bedridden patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutrition. Operate medical equipment such as hoyer lifts and wheelchairs. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Qualifications: Valid HHA or PCA certificate issued in New York State (NYS). Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for commuting. Experience as a Home and Community Support Services (HCSS) aide or caring for bedridden patients is a major plus. Knowledge of operating a hoyer lift and wheelchair is preferred.
