Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Description
Rapidly expanding home health agency that specializes in the long term treatment and rehabilitation of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients is seeking compassionate, qualified, caring, professional caregivers for in-home care.
Full-time, part-time, and contingent positions available. Certificate of training or licensure such as CNA, MA, CHHA, etc. highly desired Previous experience with TBI and SCI a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to the clients plan of care which may include:
Assisting with care needs, specifically but not limited to; dressing, grooming, medication, etc.
Assisting with meal preparation
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's)
Light housekeeping
Complete all required documents and charting in a timely fashion.
Follow all emergency procedures.
Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control.
Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to verify eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English, which includes documentation.
Must have a valid driver license
Must not have a criminal background.
