Position Summary:
The In-Home Caregiver provides compassionate, person-centered support to individuals in their homes to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide companionship and emotional support
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Light housekeeping and laundry
Medication reminders (per care plan)
Transportation to appointments and community activities
Monitor health status and report changes to supervisors
Maintain accurate documentation and follow agency policies
Qualifications:
Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
Ability to follow care plans and work independently
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Background check clearance
