Position Overview: Oversee aspects of care in accordance with physician's orders, resident, and family needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Coach & lead those staff members reporting to Charge LPN - work as one 'Team' to keep things running smoothly. Responsible for dispensing medications to residents. Charting & paperwork - Ensures all reporting requirements are met and completes all required paperwork, i.e. infection control, accident/incident reports, etc. Complete MDS+ on residents per assigned unit(s). Sterile technique / aseptic technique. Skin assessment, Decubitus Care, Dressings / Irrigations, Catheterization, Tropical applications. Basic Duties & Responsibilities: Assists with issues that arise while on duty. Assist with wing staff evaluations. Assist with physician rounds. Working with residents and staff. All other Duties as assigned.
