Job Summary
The Charge Nurse plays a critical leadership role within the nursing team, overseeing patient care and ensuring that high standards of nursing practice are maintained. This position requires a dedicated professional who is skilled in various areas of healthcare, The Charge Nurse will coordinate patient care activities, mentor nursing staff, and serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Duties
Supervise and support nursing staff in delivering exceptional patient care.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including dermal fillers when applicable.
Ensure compliance with health standards and regulations within the facility.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Address any urgent care needs promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
Licensed Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
Previous experience in a charge nurse or leadership role preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
Ability to perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and spinal taps competently.
