Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
Looking for an honest, caring, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to help manage operations and support resident care across three Adult Family Homes in the Kenmore and Lynnwood area. This is a per diem position with initial training provided to cover a two-week vacation in June. Perfect for a nurse who values flexibility and meaningful work with elderly residents in a small, home-like setting. Responsibilities: Visit all three Adult Family Homes to check on residents’ well-being. Support and guide caregivers in day-to-day resident care. Review and update residents’ medication administration records (MARs). Respond promptly to any medical concerns or emergencies. Coordinate care with primary care providers, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed. Communicate any changes in resident condition to the appropriate parties. Serve as acting clinical lead while the owner, a nurse practitioner, is away. Requirements: Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing. Experience with elderly or long-term care populations preferred. Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills. Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently. Schedule: Per diem, with focused coverage needed for 2 weeks in June (training provided beforehand). Potential for occasional fill-in or future expansion. We'd love to hear from you if you’re passionate about quality elder care and want to make a difference in a family-like environment.
