The primary purpose of your job is to provide direct nursing care to our residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by our CNA's. Responsibilities: Ensure that the admission process is followed according to facility policy Make rounds with physicians as necessary Chart accurate notes in a descriptive, informative, and timely manner Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physicians Make daily rounds of your unit to ensure that nursing personnel are performing their work as assigned Review care plans daily to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered Qualifications: Previous experience in a long-term care setting Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and other team members Compassionate and caring demeanor Excellent written and verbal communication skills
