The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for rendering nursing care to assigned residents in Carillon House in terms of individualized resident needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions, and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards based on the scope of vocational nursing, in compliance with Texas Department of Human Services regulations for long term care, and policies set forth by Carillon Inc. Full Time, Day and Night positions are available. Qualifications and Skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing. Maintains a current license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners for Vocational Nursing. Have a current card for the successful completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR – Healthcare Provider). Have at least one-year experience as charge nurse in a geriatric setting preferred.
