Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Description
Oakridge Gardens Rehabilitation & Memory Center, located in Menasha just off of HWY 441 near UW-Fox Valley, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses on AM, PM and NOC shift. We are a family owned and operated organization for over 40 years! We value low patient to Nurse ratios and offer competitive wages. The Licensed Practical Nurse is a staff nurse who will function in two different capacities, depending on staffing needs. One function is the lead LPN and the other function is floor LPN. The lead LPN for the day (which is a rotating role) will provide leadership and nursing oversight to the clinical staff providing direct patient care. This LPN will create assignments, pass medications, provide treatments, complete necessary documentation and assure documentation is completed by the direct patient care staff. The lead LPN may delegate to other LPNs and CNAs and assist the RN as needed. The floor LPN will provide direct primary patient care, assists other clinical floor staff as needed. The floor LPN may also delegate and supervise the care provided by other floor staff including LPNs and CNAs. The LPN can be delegated as charge nurse of any given floor to manage Wages are based on experience. LPNs now starting at $24.00 with no experience. Oakridge Gardens also offers shift differential pay for licensed staff for PM and NOC shift.
