All our new caregivers go through an in-depth orientation, so they have all the tools to be successful. What will your job duties be you ask? Providing non-medical personal care and/homemaking services for assigned clients. Reporting any observed environmental concerns or changes in the consumer’s status that may impact the safety and security of the consumer to the HCA. Completion of appropriate notes regarding services provision of each visit, to include confirmation of services provided and the date and time in and out, according to the HCA policy. Observation and maintenance of the home environment in accordance with the service plan that ensures the safety and security of the consumer. Report any observed or stated changes in the consumer’s physical, cognitive, and/or developmental status. Assist with non-medical activities of daily living, personal care, and any other assignment as included in the services plan. Duties include, per agency policy: skin care, ambulation, bathing, dressing, exercise, feeding, hair care, mouth care, nail care, positioning, shaving, toileting, transfers, medication assistance, respiratory care, accompaniment, protective oversight and respite care. Qualifications 1+ years of relevant experience or related (Preferred) Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize without guidance. Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry 25 pounds; must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.
