Caregiver Job Description
Nightingales Home Care has positions open for the Grand Junction/Fruita/Palisade/Redlands/Loma/Mack/Whitewater area. You may be right for our growing staff. We provide high quality, non-medical / assisted living services care to our valued customers in their homes. Various shifts due to customer need (morning, day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts).
The appropriate candidate will possess these qualifications: Valid Drivers License, reliable transportation, and at least 18 years of age. The ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner, as well as, the ability to be reliable, manage a flexible work schedule, and work with little supervision. Applicant should possess the drive to do something of value in your community, and help others.
Job Purpose Summary: Physically able to assist customers’ by providing: personal care (shower assistance, incontinence assistance, dressing), mobility assistance, medication reminders, meal preparation, complete household chores, (i.e.; housekeeping, laundry), and driving customers to appointments or errands. These services assist our valued customers’ to stay as independent as possible in their own home or care facility.
