Job Description - Light house cleaning - Laundry - Companionship - Bathing/Shower - Medication reminders - Dental Care - Meal Prep - Ambulation, Transfer, Positioning of client Requirements - Highschool graduate or GED - PCA Certification through approved program Ga-DCH,HFR - 1 year of full-time experience in Personal Care Home, institutional setting, Hospital, Nursing Home, or Home Care Agency - Shall have 1 year full time experience within the last 5 years in direct client care - Evidence of sympathetic attitude for care with the elderly - Demonstrate ability to read, write and to carry out directions - Shall have a criminal history check conducted prior to working with this agency * All PCA's must take a competency test.*
