Job Title: PRN - CNA/PCA/Caregiver Location: Smyrna, GA 30080 Employment Type: PRN / As-Needed / Per Diem Setting: Home Care Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and flexible PRN CNA/PCA to join our team in Smyrna, GA. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care on an as-needed basis, helping to cover staffing gaps, sick calls, and fluctuations in census. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in accordance with facility policies and professional standards. Provide compassionate companionship and attentive supervision. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including light housekeeping and meal preparation. Support with medication reminders and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with the care manager and the client’s family. Respond promptly when scheduled for open shifts; maintain availability within agreed parameters. Adhere to infection control, safety, and compliance regulations. Schedule Requirements PRN / As-Needed – no guaranteed hours Minimum availability: 10 days a month or as needed when reached. Shifts may include: Dayshifts only from 9:00AM-5:00PM Mondays to Fridays Must be able to report to Smyrna, GA within 30-minutes for last-minute coverage when accepting an on-call shift. Qualifications Active and unrestricted license/certification for CNA/PCA in the state of Georgia. CPR/BLS/First Aid Training Certification Recent TB Test (dated within 6 months ago) Driver's License SSN ID Minimum 1 year of experience in personal care and companionship services. Strong critical thinking, communication, and adaptability skills. Ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods (physical requirements as per role). Preferred (Optional) Prior PRN or float pool experience.
