Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions: •Performs systematic assessment focusing on the physiological, cultural, psychological, spiritual, and cognitive status of the resident •Evaluates, develops and prioritizes a plan of care that is based off of residents’ individualized care plan and nursing standards of care •Provides safe, therapeutic care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and continuous manner involving all members of the healthcare team •Demonstrates competence in the care of pediatric and young adults with developmental disabilities and medically complex needs •Assesses and evaluates resident plan of care and teaching needs. Documents effectiveness and revises plans as needed. •Administers and documents medications, treatments, diets and other interventions safely and as outlined in the resident’s care plan and medical record. •Observes resident’s for change in condition. Consults and collaborates with residents’ providers and healthcare professionals as needed. Document changes in condition and interventions in the resident’s record. •Establishes rapport with family members and guardians. Assist and instruct residents and family members and guardians in nursing care procedures as appropriate. •Accompanies residents to non-virtual medical and health related appointments. Provide appropriate medical information to health care professionals and collaborate care. •Orders resident supplies, equipment needs, and medications as needed. •Oversees care provided by CNAs within their scope of practice. •Adheres to HIPAA and all state and federal medical privacy laws. •Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: •Degree from accredited School of Nursing •Current Registered Nursing License with WA State Department of Health •Must pass a State and Federal Background Check, including fingerprints •Valid State Driver’s License •Must maintain current vehicle insurance •Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR •Current Food Handler’s Permit or within 30 days of hire •Proof of licensing required vaccinations •DDA Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training within one year of hire •Must acquire and provide proof of 30 hours of CEU’s per year Organizational Benefits: •NOC shift differential •Weekend differential •Holiday Pay •Paid Vacation •IRA with employer-matching •Employee Assistance Program •Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance •Continuing Education and Tuition Reimbursement Program •Equal Opportunity Employer
