Bethel has been providing services and programs to the senior community since 1911 and we are very proud of the reputation we have established. Bethel is the only Not-for-Profit healthcare organization in Northern Westchester that offers Home Care, Adult Day Services, an Independent Living Residence, an Assisted Living residence, a CCRC, two Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers and Respite Care. We are looking for a Director of Nursing (DON) for the Bethel Nursing Home. The Director of Nursing (DON) must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks for our 43 bed SNF. The Director of Nursing is responsible for oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department. Assure that each resident receives the highest quality of care so that they will achieve the maximum level of function in accordance with their comprehensive plan of care. Assure the general well-being of residents through the delivery of high quality care and services. Oversee the management of the department’s day-to-day operations. . QUALIFICATIONS Active NY State Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year experience as a Assistant or Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility or 3 years of Nurse Management experience Must have strong computer literacy and competency skills Possess effective communication and problem-solving skills Ability to implement new policies, procedures, and programs related to acuity of residents Must be knowledgeable of Nursing and Medical practices and procedures, as well as Federal and NYS laws, DOH regulations, and guidelines An ideal position for an Experienced Nurse manager, Supervisor or Asst.
