Private Duty Nurse Needed

Job Title: Private Duty Nurse As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing personalized, high-quality care to patients in their homes or designated facilities. Your expertise will ensure that each patient receives the attention and medical support they need to thrive. You’ll work closely with families, healthcare teams, and patients to deliver compassionate care that enhances their quality of life. You'll be an overnight nurse from 9PM-7AM. What you’ll do Deliver comprehensive nursing care tailored to the individual needs of patients. Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusion and wound care. Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and documenting changes in health status. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans. Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management and wellness strategies. Assist with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity for all patients. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Basic qualifications Valid nursing license in your state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices. Preferred qualifications Experience with Epic or Cerner electronic medical record systems. Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation. Critical care experience, including ICU or emergency room settings. Proficiency in administering botulinum toxin treatments or performing cardiac catheterization procedures. Background in geriatrics, hospice & palliative medicine, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
