Job description
We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and provide quality care to our geriatric patients in a long-term care, nursing home, or rehabilitation center setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, providing patient education, and assisting with patient assessments. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Assess patient's condition and document findings in patient's medical record.
Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Provide education to patients and their families on health topics.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the physician.
Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $29.00 - $36.50 per hour
