Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) IV Infusion

Contact Jerome Masaquel Recruiter - BrightStar Care of Milford-Framingham The IV/IG RN reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for administering Infusion Therapy to our clients in a home setting. The Infusion RN is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and the standards of quality are adhered to. Work as many or as few hours as you want; we have opportunities across Norfolk and Worcester Counties and Metro West. Our independently owned and operated team is looking for high-energy caregivers to work nights, days, weekends and/or holidays. URGENT NEED in Waltham and Framingham areas Infusion Registered Nurse / RN Job Duties include: Perform care in accordance with physician orders, client Plan Of Care and within scope of Massachusetts state nurses practice act Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs Provide training and/or oversight to staff as required Additional home care (SQ infusion) opportunities available as well Infusion Registered Nurse / RN Benefits include: Variety of assignments, procedures and treatments Flexible schedules, paid mileage and travel time Weekend and evening opportunities, in-home One to one patient care Working with a Joint Commission accredited agency Continuing education Weekly pay with direct deposit option Infusion Registered Nurse / RN Job Requirements include: Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts Supporting documents showing 2 years of IV Nursing experience Proof of eligibility to work in the US Clean background and criminal record Reliable transportation Current CPR/BLS certification Physical within last year Documented immunization history and negative PPD or chest x-ray Experienced Preferred: 2 years’ home care and IV Therapy Recent peripheral IV starts/maintenance & IV Infusion Therapy Injection and self-infusion training Phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients CVAD experience & knowledge, home experience with infusion pumps and port access We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Referral program Schedule: Choose your own hours Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Experience: Infusion: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) RN License (Required) Work Location: On the road
