Home Health RN/LPN

We are seeking a Home Health Care Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients. We are a non medicare agency servicing private insurance, managed care, and workers comp. We have per diem, part time needs in the following areas Seminole County (East Orlando, oviedo, Chuluota) Orange County, Osceola County Responsibilities: Administer intermittent nursing care to clients in their home with various types of diagnosis Assess post operative patients, perform dressing changes, wound care, provide post op education and monitoring Perform incision care and post operative education hip, knee replacements, and ortho trauma Administer IV infusion and provide education to pt/cg regarding self administration of IV meds Perform venipuncture, IV access placement (peripheral), change Central line dressings and lab draws Administer specialy infusions IVIG, Remicaide, enzyme replacements, etc Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to MD Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records EMR (Kinnser) Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing RN license Strong assessment skills and troubleshooting Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Peripheral IV skills "willing to train" Reliable car
