DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONE GO HERE!! My mother in law began living at Berea Alzheimer's Care Center in November 2024, finally in July 2025 we were able to remove her to a safe facility. The people here neglect their patients. Physically my mother in law was in great shape but as you can tell from the photos, she was a disaster when she arrived at her new nursing facility. The new nursing facility had to take her to the Emergency Room due to her blood pressure being insanely high. When we would visit her at Berea, the facility always smelled really bad, as if they cleaned the dirty adult diapers but once a week. It's just not a good facility. Oh and beware of the 4 and 5 starred comments, some are from employees of the facility.

I want to thank all of the caring staff for caring for my grandmother like she was their own. The attention and care during this difficult time was so important to us. I appreciate the updates and answering all of our questions, we probably drove staff and nurses crazy at times but they were so sweet. Thank you so much . We miss our angel now in heaven.

All the staff at Berea Alzheimer’s Center took good care of my mother who was in their care for about 6 months. The office staff assisted me with the whole process of intake and making accommodation for anything that we needed. I greatly appreciate all they did for my mother and for our family to make every process easier. They actually care and take their roles seriously.

I've been to many many different nursing homes!! This one may not look the greatest or always smell the greatest. But I know without a doubt your loved ones are taken care of. Dementia and Alzheimer's are a hard disease and a harder reality to swallow when it comes to your loved one! Care, compassion, trust and love is what this place gives to their residents on a daily basis! You can always volunteer to help 🫢. The administration and managers are 100% always on the ball when it comes to any incident or problem that may arise. Their first thought is keeping their residents safe and out of harms way, no matter who may be the cause of it.

Berea Alzheimer’s Care Center reminds me of the children's book “The Little Engine That Could”. It may not be the prettiest little building but in my experience, they have the best hearts working with dementia/Alzheimer’s residents. They are calm and cool and work as a team to redirect whenever a Resident becomes agitated or tearful. They don’t miss a beat and it keeps everyone else calm. I am impressed! Observing this in action daily, it’s the exact reason why I came on board with this facility. (Other than their Executive Director Endia who exudes professionalism and joy daily). It’s no surprise they are a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 facility. A five-star rating is never given. It is always earned. Every single day.
