My mom needed rehab after leaving the hospital and ended up here at Lacamas Creek Post Acute rehab. She appreciated all the care she received from the nurses and CNAs. She was at this facility about a month. She enjoyed visiting with the staff and really liked her PT/OT team and their care and treatment plan. She especially enjoyed chatting with her case manager, he treated her like royalty. Since my mom lives with me I was interested especially in her treatment plan. I like how they had involvement from therapy, nursing, dietary, and the case manager going over her care plan. They listened to my concerns, suggestions and was always ready with an answer when i asked. I would highly reccomend this rehab facility to anyone who seeks excellent care for themselves or a loved one. I would drop in day or evening and my mom always had something nice to say about ppl on her care team, ppl who cleaned her room, bathed her or any person concerned with her care at this facility

Is this place perfect? No. Definitely short handed. Yes, food often comes cold and that's not a pleasant experience. It's definitely clean. From what I can tell anyway. The staff is helpful. Understand that like most facilities they are understaffed. Patience on our part can help. I am not staying here. My mom is. It's been hard. The staff has been helpful in most cases. She definitely has her favorites. Face it most people in here don't want to be in here. That itself offers a huge challenge. Atleast the rooms are a decent size, they have outdoor spaces you can enjoy, and private indoor spaces if you have a lot of visitors. Would I recommend this place? No. It means you are in some kind of trouble. If you have no choice it's a place that can help you heal.

I’ve never had such wonderful care and help getting rehabilitated to the point I could go home! The staff deserves a pay raise because they are so good at what they do. The are caring and so professional. Special thanks to Kelly and Maria! I nicknamed her fluff! The administration is exceptionally good in helping you get in and out. The nurses have been unbelievably kind and caring!

Father-stroke victim, sent to Lacamas Post Acute for rehabilitation in speech, occupational, and physical therapy. August 11- September 5> not able to stand on own, feed himself, or walk upon release. According to paperwork from facility he was able to stand and walk 120 feet on his own. This was reported to insurance company and he was kicked to the curb. NEVER SEEN SUCH UNDERSTAFFED INCOMPETENT GROUP OF THERAPISTS IN THE LAST 5 MONTHS AS I WITNESSED AT THIS FACILITY. If you want your loved ones to get good care management DO NOT send them here!!!

Would highly recommend never going here or taking a loved one here. My 83 year old grandma was here after leaving the hospital. She is diabetic. They have not given her any special diet to control her blood sugar, she eats just whatever everyone else is eating. They let her blood sugar get so low for hours, that she needed a glucose shot. They didn't have one to give her?? Called paramedics to give her one and take her to the hospital. She was extremely out of it, not responsive, and went stiff on her left side. She had an MRI in the hospital and it was found that she now has brain damage because of this episode. On this day, a nurse also gave her an antibiotics that was meant for the lady in the bed next to her. The antibiotics had sulfur in it, which she is allergic too. When she got to the hospital, we found many bed sores and on her back from them not moving her. We will be filing a complaint with the state.
