Reviews
I just was released from this facility yesterday. I was previously in another facility, so I have something to compare to. This place has some good things and bad things about it, but I have to say some of the CNA’s that took care of me were great, friendly, and took good care of me. I have to agree with one of the other reviews that it is quite noisy in the evenings and it is hard to sleep because the evening crew can be loud and some of the patients are allowed as well. The food was better than the last facility I was in, however, some of it could have been improved. The PT and OT department deserve a huge shout out. My PT therapist was Anh and my OT was Roxanne. These two individuals pushed me in many ways, but I am happy to say I am glad they pushed me because I came out of the facility feeling much better and I’m able to walk with out assistance. I truly believe they’re pushing me got me to where I am today, and I am truly appreciative of both of these therapist as well as the entire department. Everyone in that department was kind and friendly. I would highly recommend if your loved one needs to be put in a facility that requires therapy you should consider this place.
I am so lucky to have staff that was concerned about my well being. I send thanks to Mercedes, Marcelo and Anila. I especially have to send many thanks and gratitude to Roxanne the Ocupationa Therapist who spent the necessary time needed to get me where I could survive in a different environment. The other therapist I would like to thank are Daniella and TU. Again thank you guys for your patience and help.
This place is the pits the reviews are lies and I believe are done by staff this place does not care about your well being they are very cheap and dirty and they give you the very bear minimum of everything, the food is disgusting and cold the place is dark stinky and very unwelcoming the staff is very unprofessional residents can't sleep at night because they are laughing loud having loud conversations late night in the hallways very rude, the medication lady lings always running late when she checks your sugar she doesn't even use alcohol swab she just sticks you and wipes blood with glove and go on, you complain about things nobody does nothing I complained about cold food, bugs, showers, and nothing I had to call the state who came out and found the bugs and they finally did call pest control I was already discharged but I kept telling them its a problem bugs was flying in my face my food all around my room the hallways they sprayed bleach and cleaning spray they came right back so yes I called the state filed a complaint. I do say that the Physical Therapy, & OT team are all awesome Danielle, Natalia, Roxanne, Joy. Tu, Sam, that whole team make this place yall all need to go elsewhere u don't deserve to work at this hell hole also Elziabeth thank you, you were kind & helpful oh and they do construction all day and night also interrupt sleep please don't take your loved ones here my neighbor that was across family moved him to another facility it was like a real lifetime movie stay away look further oh Geeta was the BEST as well she was very Compassionate.
My Dad has been in Manzanita Healthcare since February 2024. Our family is very active in his care. We engage with many employees at Manzanita and everyone is great! Bobbie M stands out though. She works the front area reception is a wonderful person. She greets everyone with a smile and kind demeanor. She goes above and beyond for patients and their families. She knows my family by name and loves our dog who is a verified visitor at the facility. Manzanita is lucky to have such a authentic & top notch ✨️ employee.
All staff are so caring about their patients, especially Roxanne , Marites , Lyn and Natalya from Therapy dept. Also to Anila, Cari and Hector from Nursing and Zeb for overseeing my care. Thank you all for helping me get back to my normal condition.
