BRENTWOOD REHABILITATION AND HEALTHCARE CTR (THE)

I've been there as a patient Some ppl were really excellent that worked there and 2 of the 4 quit because they couldn't handle the company (not care) side of things.. some nurses were great and others scared me. It's clean though and they feed you. I was there at the high of COVID and I didn't get sick... I'd def look elsewhere but if you have to go there you need to be able to advocate. They get 5 stars for the heat it's tropical, ha! Good luck & say your prayers. There are worse places; but they judged me by my age not my injury. Staff may have changed & don't just look at the one room they have as a display . I would go back if I had no other choice, so that says something

My name is Tanya and my lovely mother-in-law. Joanne Richard was a patient at Brentwood for a couple years. They are very very amazing people. They do their job to the max. They’re very attentive very spiritual when they ask for them to be I couldn’t ask for a better place they took care of all of my parents, including my mother-in-law I could not be more grateful for the love care and affection that they show these patients. I gotta give them the outmost respect out of anything because if it wasn’t for them, my parents probably wouldn’t have made it as far as they did and at the end of the day, a family member wrote a false report and a false review on their thing because she is mad that her own mother didn’t make her the POA so if you see a bad review from a Tina C it is 100% false she was never involved in her mother‘s life, but Brentwood was always there when I needed them. They were always there when I had questions I needed answers no matter what it was. I could not be more grateful for Brentwood for doing what they have done for my mother my father and my mother-in-law, they are amazing people and they definitely deserve to be recognized for how amazing and caring they are and at the end of the day I would recommend them to everyone so if anybody who watches reviews read this because they are very compassionate and I could not ask for better thank you Brentwood for all you’ve done. It’s very much appreciated.

I had the pleasure of having a stay at this facility and I was genuinly surprised at the level of care I recieved from them, I was there for a couple months for rehab services which helped me greatly. I was having issues with my ability to walk and to use stairs and they focused on that stuff to help me to be able to return home with the ability to conquer both of those issues. I had the pleasure of being placed on the rehab floor run by an exceptional unit manager named Eleisha, she made sure I was comfortable my entire stay and her staff was just amazing the following CNA's where just amazing (day shift) Mayra, Angie, Neida, and on the second shift one of the best CNA's and just an amazing person Jemina and the following nurses, Anicia (7-3) and Clara 7-3 and 3-11. I also had the pleasure of dealing with another nurse Olga and she works different shifts. The rehab division was amazing, Marina and Annemarie, Kerry and Anne where amazing and made sure I would have success at home. I have stated if I ever needed a rehab again (hopefully not) I would request to go back there without question. I highly recommend this facility if you need any type of rehab or nursing facilty! I also forgot to mention Tracie from social services she was amazing and extremely attentive throughout my stay and she made sure I had the proper equipment and services for my return home. Thank you to the entire staff at Brentwood!

My stay at Brentwood was wonderful. Every aspect of my stay was fantastic. I had a nice room that was clean and well furnished. It was quiet with no stress. Food was served on time and tasted very good. The nurses were attentive and responsive. My medication was given on time. Physical therapy was offered regularly and was quite helpful in my recovery. Activities kept me busy. And the admin staff ensured things were fine and there were no problems. I would return here in a heartbeat.

HORRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. These people should be ashamed of how they operate their businesses. My father who had a stroke was sent here in April and has been barely given any proper treatment since he arrived. The nurses barely attend to him, they don’t shower him, half of the equipment in the rooms are broken and or out of date. The rooms are also extremely crowded as much as to 3 people in one room.He has had incidents where the staff have not given any food to him and he’s had to complain, then after complaining they retaliate and avoid him. The most disgusting incident is when my father was attacked by his roommate and instead of helping him they section 12 him to Salem hospital for the whole day, Brentwood tried to blame the situation on him and then after he was sent back to Brentwood from the hospital in a Lyft he fell and no one from the Brentwood decided to help him leaving him outside in the cold on the ground. Since this incident they have not taken any precautions to prevent a similar incident from happening, the staff has only retaliated and disregarded his concerns. Update: This place still has not improved and only worsened. I feel bad for anyone that has to suffer at this place. The nurses still don’t assist my father on a regular basis and are only concerned with him going outside. They have denied him outside access multiple times preventing him from properly rehabbing himself and even isolating himself. Even worse I found out the place has a cockroach infestation and is doing nothing to address it. This place should not be allowed to take in people if they aren’t going to help them. They do not rehab people they just house them so if you love your family do not take them here.
