PLEASE!!!! Do not send you love one too this place. My sister was treated horrible they never hardly ever changed their clothes. She was always dirty. Her room was always dirty and they wouldn’t get her out of bed half the time because she needed help and they constantly ask her for money that she didn’t have. She fell out of bed ones and she was always covered in bruises, which I don’t know how she got most of those, but the whole experience was horrible..
Had a customer who brought her mother in to get her hair done that was staying at this place, she was 76 with dementia and a broken wrist. As a local hairdresser most everyone that brings a loved one in from a nursing facility usually the resident is clean. This resident was not clean, reeked of urine, had not had her hair washed (clean) in awhile. She fell and daughter said she laid there for an hour in this hell hole. The stories from her and her daughter were nightmarish. I would never put a loved one in a place like this.
Do not send your loved ones here! My relative was covered in her own body fluids for who knows how long before my mom came to visit and had to get someone to clean her up. Mind you she is in a pull-up and her bed was covered in easily 2-3 times of going. They obviously have no remorse or it wouldn’t happen to her and so many others I’ve been reading stories about. This place needs to be shut down.
Do not send your family to this place! My loved one was there for just over 2 months. He has Dementia and we needed somewhere quickly so this was the place we chose. He fell numerous times which seemed to have worsened his condition. Towards the end of his time there they sent him to the hospital because they thought he fractured his arm because it swelled up like a balloon. No one could give an explanation as to what happened. He was bed bound so we were trying to figure out how he could have either fallen or maybe hit something... he didn't. It was fluid retention. In that hospital visit they also found a UTI, pneumonia and stage 3 wounds on his back. He did not go back to this place. I'm not sure how any of that can be missed if he was getting proper treatment. Please avoid this place!
The compassion from a few workers is the only good thing about this place. The mouse excrement, fire alarm missing from its cradle in the ceiling, the uncleaned surfaces with grunge dust, unswept floors are just a few of the things that make you wonder. The lack of care and service from some of the workers is astounding. I would reconsider if you need a place for you or your loved one.
