First time visit, we were kindly welcomed at the front desk. The place was clean and warm. The nurse and assistants were friendly and helpful. Residents were also visiting in activity room and having fun conversations. It was a good visit.
Hope you're in for a long read! It's worth every second. My best friend was diagnosed with cancer and had to have a total laryngectomy upon removal of the cancerous tumor. They have a specialty unit for tracheostomy care (respiratory therapy), as he had to have an emergency tracheostomy in the ER upon finding out about the cancer. He has been in there since July and is still there. The staff work SO WELL with me (friend/advocate and DPOA), they literally stop at NOTHING to make things happen. They are the most caring facility that I've ever been in. It's clean, they take CARE (with care) of everyone who is there. They are knowledgeable, responsible, respectful and honest. Great personalities with beautiful hearts and brilliant minds. If it wasn't for their entire staff, I don't want to think about what could've happened or not happened. My friend is super comfortable. Staff is easy to get ahold of and they're always willing and able to listen. They FIND the time for not just their residents, but also the family and friends with answering questions or explaining things. They all have a great sense of humor consider what they face daily. GOOD ON THEM!! I could not have chosen a better place for my friend. I'm glad he's there and so is he! I hope this helps. 🙏
This place is a great rehab center. Place is spacious, quiet area, and easy access. Friendly and helpful staff. PT are superhelpful in caring for patient and training family members for home care. I would recommend this place.
