I don’t feel that a one-star review would be fair because there are a handful of people here who genuinely care — but unfortunately, in my opinion, the majority do not. My mom was recovering from a major surgery (two broken femurs) and was at this facility specifically to heal and do physical therapy. At her follow-up appointment, her surgeon requested progress reports on her PT, only to learn that none were available. That’s incredibly concerning since therapy was the entire reason she was there. Communication was also terrible — and that’s really not an exaggeration. We actually found out from her Memory Care facility, not Lynnwood Post Acute, that she was being discharged. There were several other disappointing issues I could mention, but I think that gives you the idea. They simply need to do better. After speaking with the Executive Director before discharge, I’m not confident much will change. I would not choose this facility again for a family member, and unfortunately, I can’t recommend it to others.
If I could have chosen no stars then that's what I would have done, I was on the phone with my mom when she told a staff worker she needed to use the restroom, she had to have a bowel movement, the lady told her to just poo in the bed instead of assisting her to the facility. My mom asked for a bedside toilet and it took staff over 2.5 HOURS to bring one to her. Which means my mom had to wait that long to finally go to the restroom. Other complaints, She's left sitting in soiled undergarments for hours, no name tags on any of the staff, waiting for hours for meds, black nasty stuff under rim of toilet, old food on floor looks like it's been there for weeks. No gait belt being used at all, when my mom asked about this they told her you can stand just fine. That's not what a gait belt is for it's to protect the person when they fall. There's so many complaints I have about this place and the staff. I will be contacting state immediately. Please don't bring your loved one's here, I have a feeling the higher star ratings and comments were paid for.
I’d like to be transparent in the fact that this review is after visiting the rehabilitation center on a tour, and I have not had a family member personally stay here. However, I have learned that it is challenging to know what to expect, and find good resources, so I felt like leaving a review might at least be helpful to some… The location itself not on a busy street, the parking could use improvement, however, there is some in the back. I do think the staff here is efficient and they were very responsive to phone calls and questions and coming in for a tour. During the tour I was able to ask any questions that I wanted to, and was able to understand clearly Aryana’s responses. The way that this location is set up, included a short term, hallway, and a long-term hallway, the cleanliness of the areas were pretty good, and the overall facility did show a movie area, and boardgame area. I don’t expect any location to be perfect, I did see a lot of seemingly happy family members visiting there, family while passing through the hallways… There was one spot that smelt of urine, but perhaps that was being addressed. Overall, I think if you are looking for someplace that your family needs to stay at, this is a good spot to begin your tour, and see.
My mom was admitted to the Lynwood Post Acute Rehab Center after 13 days stay at the hospital from Pneumonia. She stayed at this place for 13 days, all the staff are amazing, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and quiet. The PT and OT staff were wonderful and helped mom back on her feet. I would highly recommend this place for anyone that needs to recover.
This is a great place. They do so many activities with the residents and do so much to make sure it's safe for them to go home. Staff care and department heads are always there to help.
