I can’t say enough good things about this place especially the staff. Staff: the nurses, PAs, and support staff have all been amazing. They never seem to be too busy to acknowledge visitors or patients/residence. The nursing staff has been phenomenal. They’ve treated our loved one with dignity and respect. They chat with him and encourage him to get stronger and stay sharp. A noticeable change in just a few days of treatment. Shoutout to everyone in the South Wing, especially to Kate who’s been the best! Location: Google gives you the wrong street to turn on. It’s the turn prior to the one currently shown. Plenty of parking in the lot in front of the entrance. Facility: The facility seems to be renovated but is very welcoming spot. The staff keeps the facility incredibly clean and sanitary/disinfected for the safety of the residents and visitors. There’s a nice view from most of the windows of the trees and surrounding area. The common areas are bright and vibrant. There’s plenty of natural light coming in to most of the wings. Artwork from the residents are on some of the doors and the prints/paintings keep the halls feeling warm. Overall: I’m really impressed with this place. I’ve visited many nursing homes/rehab centers and the people here really put this place in high regard.

My mother has been at The Greens for almost a month. Gayla, a nurse in the memory care unit, has been absolutely wonderful with my mom and her care. She has been there for me when I’ve had questions and has been so helpful. I’m thankful for the care and support of my mom. Thank you Gayla and The Greens at Hickory!!

First impressions, the outside is so pretty, the inside not so pretty. Very old and worn, and very loud ! My husband is in a semi private room where they don’t clean the walls, looks really nasty. He has a small tv but no controls for it, but that doesn’t matter because the patient next to him has a tv right beside his and it’s so loud! I’m still on the fence about the staff! I’ll get back to you all on that one! Worst place ever. I have not seen and new renovations as shown on their website. My husband’s room is filthy. Also he has had a kidney infection for over three weeks. Not getting proper care! Worst doctors ever! On top of everything else the food is nasty!😡

It is very important to know that your love ones are cared for with dignity and respect under the trying circumstances for all. Here at the Greens that has been the case with all departments. The nursing staff has been incredible with the normal routines in care and concern. When we had an emergency with our family member if they had not acted immediately and choose the proper course of treatment it would on been much worst. Many thanks and blessings to everyone there at the Greens. Linda M Broome

I wouldn’t stick a dog in this facility. There is no supervisor on call just a head nurse so if I have a complaint she is essentially leaving her patients to deal with me. One person doesn’t know what the other is doing! My father is so dehydrated his urine looks like fresh dark honey! I called to speak to someone in charge guess who’s in charge the same nurse that was his personal nurse! You need a supervisor at your facility Stop WITH THE NEGLECT OF ELDERLY PEOPLE WHO CANT SPEAK DUE TO THEIR DISEASES! IM MORTIFIED! I would get your loved ones as far away from this dump as u can!
