Reviews
I was discharged from Methodist Texsan S.A. after a total knee replacement. I was discharged to Jourdanton Nursing and Rehab. I am certainly pleased that this is where I landed. This is a wonderful, service oriented facility. The staff is dedicated and ALWAYS has the patient's wellbeing in mind. I am pleased with the quality of nursing care, the expertise of the physical and occupational therapist, and the tremendous sense of being well cared for. All the staff here is competent qualified and very helpful. There were few staff members that just stood out from the rest. In nursing, Brittany and John. In physical and occupational therapy, Bri, Romy, and Jeff. With the CNAs, Jaycee, Sierra, and Rosa. I thank each of you for making my stay better. Thank you all for helping me on my healing journey!
This is a place where the management is all about numbers and not the care. When I first visited this facility I realized residents do not get showers, changed or fed unless they can speak up to say so. So many residents hadn't had showers to where there was dirt caked on their bodies and could be rubbed off, many residents have moisture damage to the skin from being left in wet briefs for long periods at a time. Residents with wounds that aren’t properly being treated. Medications that’s aren’t being given. Residents that need assistance with feeding but not being fed if they don’t eat in the dining room. CNAs telling family a resident can’t eat because they are getting IV fluids………… residents having declining heath but instead of notifying anyone the staff just says oh they’re on hospice. This place needs serious help!
I have nothing but spectacular things to say about this facility. From the evening that my father arrived at the facility for Rehab to discharge date, his care was & treatment was the best. My dad raved about the food, all of the nurses & therapist were caring not only to my dad but to me too. When I left the facility each day, I felt that my daddy was safe and very well taken care of. The facility is very clean and so are the patients, it's a wonderful place. This building was has been in Jourdanton a long time. What is important is the wonderful staff that works inside the facility. From now on, I will use this location. If I could give them a "10" I would. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking such wonderful care of my daddy 💙 Please thank each and everyone in the facility from the Cordovas
I have been a resident for many years and have been pleased with the friendly staff. They always make sure that I am happy, and they care for me all the time. I love the new management he has made a big difference in this nursing home.
So sad they use a patient who obviously needs assistance to boost their positive reviews. The facility is total dump and the new administrator is making the place worse by keeping horrible employees and getting rid of good caring staff. Don’t put even your enemy there! Roaches, electrical and plumbing problems, and lack of supplies and working equipment. It should be closed down and the building demolished.
