I just want to say that I am a student nurse and this nursing home is by far the best!! The wound nurse there is just amazing as well!! They take really good care of their residents. If I ever had to choose a nursing home for a family member of mine it would be this place.

Found grandma double diapered when we went to pick her up early. They also brought grandma to someone’s memorial/funeral while she was there for a weekend respite stay. Also told us we had to buy her pills from them and that we couldn’t bring hers from home. But they didn’t order her meds in advance of her stay and dispense them on time. They missed at least 2-3 days worth of meds during a 3-4 day stay. Then they told us they would pay for the pills since they had lied and also hadn’t even dispensed them correctly, it’s months later and we still haven’t had the bill paid by them! It’s $99 she didn’t have to spend and they keep going through new staff so no on has handled this issue. It’s been since MAY! We should’ve argued for the entire amount we paid back considering how mistreated grandma was. Do not bring your loved one here.

Manor Grove used to be a five-star facility, but since the new administration took over in October, the quality of care and communication has declined significantly. Based on my recent experience, I would now rate it as a one-star facility.

The last 6 months of my mom’s life were at Manor Grove. We were new to the area and asked a local lawyer for a recommendation. It was a terrible place for someone who had a stroke and needed almost total help. We were there daily to participate but couldn’t be there 24/7 and I regret trusting the people there. The Aids were not just bad, some were abusive. I think they are mostly agency aids hire day to day. No consistency in developing a relationship because new aids came and went often. I have photos of the damage done to My mom’s arm when someone tried to pull her up. Looked like the person had long fingernails and mom had long gouges in her arm. They tried to conceal those from us. I waited a long time to write this review thinking with time all things pass. But this place was not managed well and profit was their motivation not quality assistance. Sandra was the head nurse and she was great. But she had no control over management or the quality of the aids. My mom once told me that the aids talked amongst themselves about how they hated the job and were underpaid. I guess they thought the patients could not hear them! . That’s pretty stupid. Plus the cost was very high but we thought we were paying for the best care possible. First experience with this. The experience was terrible for my mom and I will always regret that. I would not recommend Manor Grove.

Manor Grove has been a huge blessing for our family. We researched a number of nursing homes and decided to send my wife's parents here. We're so glad we did. Manor Grove feels like a community where everyone who works there knows the residents and truly cares about them. My wife gets calls when something seems off with her parents - when they had a mild cough, or did not seem as happy as usual. We were amazed that they were on top of it, and let us know! Both my wife's parents have very challenging behaviors often and Manor Groves consistently works with them. They have incredible patience and are true professionals. We go visit them regularly, and you can tell they are really well taken care of. I hope we don't need a nursing home for a long time, but both my wife and I have said that if we ever need it, we would both want to be in a place like Manor Grove!
