Reviews
I recently stayed over 30 days in the facility and want to extend my gratitude to the physical and occupational therapy team. From the scheduler to the individual therapist and therapist assistants (Tamira, Amanda, Brian, Clarissa, Pamela, Heather, Cynthia, Kelly and Jason) . All were attentive, encouraging and challenged me to do better each session. I had to relearn to stand, walk and pivot. They worked with me to help me meet my goals and become more confident. Because of insurance issues, I am leaving before an adequate recovery but am grateful for the support and help I received while at the facility. I want to also personally thank the following CNAs (Rose, Max, Marcela, Marlyce, Dorothy, Ezzy) for their support, empathy and compassion. They worked with me during my stay and they are truly warriors! Wherever was needed, changing me, showers, delivery meals and water etc. they did! Appreciate their willingness to help me get over my fears and barriers to recovery.. they were my motivation!
My only comment is related to the “reception/greeter” in the entrance lobby on Saturday, 10/18 at 2:00pm. I was there for the first time visiting a friend. I greeted her w/ a smile and hello, it was returned w/ silence. I provided my friends’s name and room number. She pointed and told me “down the hall.” That was the extent of the “greeting.” Can’t you do better? Also, is there no sign in required for this facility? Can anyone just walk in? My friend says she’s generally pleased, which is why I gave a 3 rating.
I went to visit my uncle whom has been there for quite some time now, and this facility has exceeded my expectations and my uncle’s health has improved over the years. I am so thankful for the care he has received and continues to receive on a daily basis. The staff was very friendly and professional and foster a trusting environment for my uncle. Thank you for all hands on deck approach.
My dad came to Doctor’s because we thought this was where he would receive the best care. Unfortunately, he did not. My first issue was the nasty attitudes and looks you’d get from asking anyone who works there any type of question. Secondly, the staff acts as if they don’t want to be there. My dad was not able to walk and he would sit in a filthy diaper for at least an hour every time we were there. We complained about this daily and nothing ever happened. Third, my dad fell out of the bed. When I called to follow up, the nurse who answered the phone was rude and nasty all while trying to tell me that she checked my dad from head to toe and nothing was wrong. When my mother and I arrived at the facility the next morning, he had a bruise that was so big, there’s no way nobody noticed it. How can you all say you bathed him and still didn’t see it? Nobody said a thing. They didn’t start to “care” until I walked back to the nurses station pissed and showed them a picture of my dad’s arm and asked them who do they think they’re playing with. We aren’t stupid. It’s as if they don’t even care about the people they are responsible for taking care of. My dad needed to be taken to the hospital for a CAT scan. Fast forward to June 15th. My dad wasn’t even home for 2 weeks only to be back in the hospital for having a terrible UTI. We know that that UTI was there before he came home. Now as a result, my father had been in the hospital from this UTI for a month. My family has called, emailed and filed complaints with their corporate office. All the same…non responsive. It wasn’t until I threatened the entire facility with harm that they went chasing me down via phone call. Even reached out to my mother looking for me. Honestly, there’s nothing to discuss with them because it’s like talking to a brick wall. Everything is wrong about the staff. Their tone, their lack of accountability and professionalism. All around care is lacking and honestly whomever is responsible for managing the facility from Senior Leadership on down needs to be terminated because not even a class could make up for lack of professionalism or just a simple thing of abiding by the oath they all took. This place is a joke and I will continue to advocate for my father. Lastly, the rooms were dirty. My dad’s bedding was always dirty. He had defecation all in his fingernails, remote, bed rails, sheets and they allowed him to eat with his hands that way. I went off on every single person in there. How could you all think that was acceptable? My father deserved much better than what they gave him. Extremely disappointed in the treatment. I will continue to complain and write reviews with receipts until something is done. I don’t understand what they want to talk about because they won’t change anything. Nothing will ever change. I definitely give this place zero stars. I wouldn’t send my pet rock here.
I have been visiting a friend being treated at the rehab center numerous times. The staff has been consistently friendly and helpful. The front desk helped me several times opening doors after hours, for example.
