What can I say. I had just had total hip replacement and I went to BayView for continued Physical Therapy. What a Jem! I hit a Home Run by going to BayView! The whole staff from top to bottom were top shelf. Not one person was disrespectful or rude. They all cared upon my comfort. If I were posed with were to send my Mom or Dad for extended care, BayView would be my only choice. I saw firsthand while staying for 15 days. Such a cheerful happy bunch of people. I would recommend BayView for anyone at all that is looking for this type of care. BayView is the Best!
My sister was taken great care of for the last 2 years. My brother-in-law is happy there too.
My mother and I have visited Bayview many time to see her sister. I find this place to be In perfect condition. The staff not just one but everyone did their job the the upmost kindness from their hearts. My mom's sister unfortunately died this week. I just wanted to say the staff was such a blessing to my mother and I. They went beyond the call of duty and stayed by our side as we went through our dear precious love one as she passed. I would like to thank each and everyone of you .
I have been in many nursing facility’s throughout the state and I can say Bayview is TOP NOTCH. The love and dedication put into the care of the residents and facility definitely shows!
My 92 year old mother had to enter this facility for rehabilitation on a broken ankle. She went into this unit healthy and self sufficient, except for having to use a walker and mild dementia. She was non weight bearing for 6 weeks of her stay, but during that time they basically let her lay in bed all day. Therefore her strength was diminishing. I expressed concern about this on two separate occasions, yet almost every time I visited she was lying in bed. I was promised that they would get her up and offer activities. They were two weeks behind in starting her weight baring therapy because they wouldn’t accept a handwritten note from the surgeon. As of 11/8/22 she has been hospitalized twice from dehydration and malnutrition. On 11/8/22 my family found her lethargic, confused, and unable to feed herself at 7:30 am. The dr. was notified and did not come in until 5 hours later to order fluids. During that time I arrived and had to go find someone to actually administer the fluids. There was a nurse that came in that I had never seen before who abruptly denied any responsibility for these symptoms. To my knowledge these kinds of facilities have a Duty to Care for their patients. My mother does suffer from dementia. Could they not at least measure her fluid and food intake? Offered other options for deficiencies? The answer is YES! They did not! They have been negligent with my mothers care. I proceeded to have them call an ambulance to take her to the hospital, packed her belongings, and we left.
