I have had limited experience with this facility, but my visits there to see the husband of a good friend were very positive. He seems well-cared for, the staff was friendly, and the other patients seemed to be well cared for as well. The facility was clean and with lots of outdoor area, the setting was very pleasant. My friend is very pleased with the care he is getting, and to me, that is extremely important and my reason for the 5 stars.

This is a very fine facility. My loved one is receiving excellent care. The staff members are extremely professional and responsive. He is well cared for and our family is pleased he is a resident there.

Ketraleus Aldridge's profile photo

This facility is horrible! The environment was extremely unclean, and I was shocked that it remains in operation given the conditions. Not only that, I witnessed a staff member yelling at a patient who was simply asking for a blanket. When I reported the incident to a supervisor, it was dismissed without any action or concern. Following this, I immediately removed my brother from the facility. Based on what I witnessed, I do not believe the staff genuinely care for the well-being of their patients. I strongly urge others to consider alternative options for their loved ones.

Natasha Richter's profile photo

This place is disgusting and rundown. I cannot believe they charge $4,000 a month to live like this! The incompetence of the weekend staff was even worse! I am working on getting my father-in-law into a cleaner living place and somewhere where they know diabetics shouldn't be having cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches with juice when your blood sugar is over 400. With temperatures going up please explain to me how are the elderly supposed to stay cool in the summer? This sliding door clearly needs to be completely gutted and replaced. You can clearly tell it's been like this for some time.

Maryland Gardens Post Acute has very good quality care and compassionate and supportive staff, both with the person in their care and the family members. The days are structured and there are activities they can take part in if they so desire. The most important thing is knowing that my loved one is getting the medical care they need and that they are safe. That gives me peace of mind. Thank you Maryland Gardens for the great job that you do. I so grateful.
