Every one of the staff that we have encountered has been very professional and helpful as well as extremely kind to our mother since her accident. While I am embarrassed I can’t remember everyone’s name that works the 100 hall especially and including the front office administration has made this a very easy transition for our mom and we leave the facility with confidence she is in the best of care. Thanks Rajji for your kindness and giving me this platform to voice my opinion of the Ponce Care Center

The staff of this facility is always so welcoming and kind when I visit. The executive director Sabrina, goes out of her way to make sure all my needs are met and nothing is missed. The nursing staff is attentive and friendly and if I ever have questions, Sarah, the director of nursing is quick to get answers or offer a solution. Atiya always greets me with a smile as I walk past the nurses station. It’s always a pleasure to come visit!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience with The Ponce. After having to remove my mom by ambulance from her previous facility due to outrageous neglect, I was exhausted and worried. Finding this place has truly been a godsend. To any family looking for a safe, compassionate, and truly skilled place for their loved one, I cannot recommend The Ponce enough. The entire team is fantastic, and I am deeply grateful to have found them. From the moment my mom arrived, the level of communication and care has been remarkable. Every department has kept me informed, respected my mom’s wishes, and treated her with dignity. As an only child navigating this difficult process, I can’t express how much peace of mind that has brought me. From the CNAs to the Director of Nursing, dietary and the entire clinical team has been nothing short of outstanding. The nurses are attentive, compassionate, and skilled, and the wound care has been handled with such thoroughness and kindness. It’s clear that this staff doesn’t just do their jobs—they truly care about the residents and their well-being. Kim, the business manager, has been paramount in guiding me with knowledge and resources, always with an unwavering focus on my mom’s best interests. Atyia, has been wonderfully transparent and communicative, which has given me so much comfort and confidence. What impresses me most is that this level of care isn’t just for my mom—it’s their standard. I’ve observed the staff with many residents, and the kindness, professionalism, and respect are consistent across the board.

My father was a patient at The Ponce Rehab and Nursung Care Center in St. Augustine for the last 2 months. His care was superior. The staff are kind and compassionate. They attended to his every need quickly and never made him feel embarrassed about any of his needs. They genuinely cared about him as a person. There were so many standouts...Nicole, Atyia, Imani and Stephen were some of the CNAs and aides who were so friendly and helpful. Maria and Marianne are two of the amazing nurses who tended to him regularly. Dr. Vishen helped us with Dad's stay but also by quickly filling out several sets of forms that we needed for the VA. The Rehab staff is excellent...Melissa, Ashley, Jessica and Chris did a phenomenal job. Jadi and the staff in Admissions and Business office could not have been more helpful. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing Tim!!!! He handled the ice cream sundaes on Sunday, he ran Bingo and movement classes, and he gave free haircuts and hugs. They could work on making the food more appetizing. But the people make The Ponce. We are so grateful to them. We were sad to leave!!!
