We are very pleased with our choice of Wooded Glen Assisted Living for our mom. We had a warm welcome from the very beginning. All of the staff members are kind, patient, and accommodating. The facility is beautiful and well-kept, and the restaurant style dining is great too! There are fun activities going on and we see lots of smiles when we visit. Thank you Wooded Glen!
After looking at several other places, my wife's mother recently moved to Wooded Glen. This was an easy choice as it is by far superior to other homes in terms of quality, cleanliness, meals, care and especially atmosphere. The Wooded Glen staff is top notch, very responsive and professional. Grace Langford was our initial contact and tour guide. We cannot sing her praises enough - she is outstanding in her role at Wooded Glen!
My mother Wava Corwin 98 years old was a patient at Wooded Glen for two weeks. Over the past two weeks my mother was treated like a queen. She was adored by the nurses and staff. Everyone was so kind and caring for her. She loved the food and for the first time in weeks she actually ate their food thanks to the Chefs and caregivers. The nurses treated her like one of their own. Momma loved her time there and her passing went smoothly as much as possible. All the nurses came in to love on momma throughout those two weeks. I highly recommend that any loved ones be taken care of at Wooded Glen. I give you all 5 Stars. With love from Dee mom’s daughter.
The place is beautiful. The food was great. The care was not what it should have been. Call lights not being answered for longer than 25 minutes. Meals not delivered to the patient rooms. So mom was offered a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for dinner. This happened several times. Mom had 4 falls in 4 weeks she had Parkinson's disease and also dementia beginning stages. Left alone in the bathroom each time.
My husband was at Wooded Glen on Bechtle Ave. for four days of Respite Care. . It was a very positive experience. The facility is just beautiful. It’s like staying in a hotel! The staff was very kind and helpful making my husband feel comfortable the entire time he was there. The nursing staff cared for him with kindness and professionalism. And I will add, the food was delicious! If there’s ever a need, we would definitely go back to Wooded Glen.
