The facilities are not that fancy. But what is important to me is the staff and nurses. Everyone of them truly care about the residents. They know their names and know their needs. They are patient and loving. What a hard job! My brother and another friend were telling me today about how much they like the food. Especially the ribs! We recently had a Family Thanksgiving meal there. It was wonderful! All of the staff were dressed up in very cute "Fall/Family Thanksgiving" t-shirts. They had gone to a lot of trouble to decorate the dining hall so nicely. The food was truly delicious. I wanted to take some home to serve for our Thanksgiving meal. Whether or not the food was catered, THC cared enough to provide the residents & family a wonderful meal. All of the staff worked so hard and did all of the serving. Having to live in a nursing home is tough, but the staff does everything it can to make it home.

My brother has been at Terrell Healthcare for almost two decades. He has had numerous opportunities to choose a different facility, but chose not to. His overall experience is that he is happy and content. He gives the staff and care-givers a lot of positive feedback, he especially loves the breakfast. He has always been a finicky eater and aging hasn't changed that. He is very outgoing and friendly despite having both his legs amputated in the later stages of his life. Since he has been at Terrell Health, he has been able to maintain his integrity and dignity. The caregivers are excellent with making sure that his personal needs are met. I personally want to thank the facilities Rigistered Nurse (RN), Robin and her team for the excellent care that they bring to the facility. She has been at the location more years than I can recall. She is genuinely concerned about the residents needs. In addition, I want to thank the employees who prepares the meals and the rest of the staff. The facility is kept clean. And the staff is friendly.

My mom is currently a resident at the nursing home and has been for about a year now. I was really nervous at first because of the distance as my mom’s wellbeing and safety are top priorities for me. My experience is the team really cares for her and addresses my concerns immediately. She has adapted well there and even have friends. This is a good environment and staff.

This experience has been very positive in a very high stresses situation for me. Everyone has been professional, positive and caring. It’s not easy to let a loved one go but Terrell has made it as easy for the transition for me and my son. Thank you all for all you do!!! They are earth angels ❤️
