My Mom has been at Village on the Isle for a little over two years. From the first day that I met James and Lori, it has been a truly wonderful experience not only for me and my entire family, but for my Mom as well. The both of them represent Village on the Isle very well. My Mom thinks that she is staying at a 5 star hotel. The care, response, professionalism, positivity, and cleanliness is something to marvel at. We were blessed to have found such a fantastic facility. We feel like family the way we are treated each and every day. I’m convinced that Village on the Isle has added years to my Moms life. She has not been this comfortable in a few years. Over our two years, I’ve grown to know more of the administrative staff and I am more than impressed with employees like Kira, Myrista, Jennifer, Tracy, Sylvie, Linda and John and Virginia, who could forget them. Wow ! And the list of nurses that perform a thankless job on a daily basis include some of the very best like Carly, Ole, Margie, Rachel, Amy, Ken, Monica, Beverly, Chris, Delna, Luis, Martin, and I’ve probably forgotten many others. Even the building cleaner, Chris, and Kim the hair stylist, are just wonderful people who care so much and are so pleasant - what a team ! Suffice it to say that we’ve admired everyone we’ve come into contact with at Village on the Isle. That’s huge. That just doesn’t happen in these times. And part of what sets Village on the Isle apart from other facilities is that turnover is non existent. This is why we know so many of the employees - they haven’t changed in many years. That is a true testament as to why we feel like family at Village on the Isle and why we look forward to visiting my Mom and know that she is being cared for by our “other family”. It all starts with James, the Administrator. It is quite rare to find someone like him in his role who always wears a smile, is always available and you instantly get that genuine feeling that this guy gets it. Boy does he….. Kindest regards and heartfelt feelings, Warren Bovich - Alice’s son

My husband just spent 4 weeks in skilled nursing facility. I have nothing but praise for the care he received there. Some deserve special recognition: Marina Bernesby, CNA, nurses Tina, Vanessa and Stephanie, and physical therapists , John, Nick and Kathy were all outstanding. The dietician and kitchen staff were very accommodating and food delicious. Even the receptionists took an interest. Thanks Laurie for find us a bed. Definitely 5 stars.
