I am very disappointed and angry at the care emerald care has for their patients! I had a family member there for 1 year. In that one year the staff denied bathroom access, did not check for tooth ache, medical care when needed or good treatment as a person. My family member suffered through constant incidents which my family is who noticed and reported it. No staff member reported her wounds or aches. The last incident was on September 6th 2025. My aunt had a severe wound on her foot, a whole the size of a dime to be exact. We asked staff if they noticed they said “they did not know she had such wound” which to me shows they don’t properly shower patients or look at them thoroughly! We took her to the hospital that same day. My aunt received medicine and was sent back to emerald care facility. we checked on her foot October 4th 2025. 2 weeks later and it had gotten worse which was not reported or told to family members by the staff! She was in the hospital for a week and we made the decision to move her facilities. I do not recommend leaving family members at emerald care. They neglect bathroom usage for other patients from what my family has witnessed they belittle them and are very rude! Staff do not report incidents or help better their patients. Staff are supposed to provide therapy and other activities for their patients and my aunt did not receive the proper therapy or care. It is disgusting how the “nurses” treat the patients!!

I'm not really sure how I feel about this place yet. One think I find obsurd is that they only allow their clients to take a shower one time a week. I was wishing I could say it wasn't true but it is. I think the staff should be allowed only one shower per week and see how they like it. My family member just started staying here so we'll see how everything else goes.

Emerald care is a great place to stay I’ve been her for about 3 months. The food could be a bit better. Yvette Makes staying here better with her personality and big heart. Evening shift is the best I can tell they care they take the time to talk to me. They deserve a raise. So get sick and come stay at emerald care

Home away from home a place to get you back on your feet rehabilitation wise or a place to call a home. While still having all the freedom in the world in a nursing home setting. Staffing is amazing. Would love to give 5 stars but there is always room for improvement. No one is perfect.

I have a family member that stays here and I know some people think covid is a hoax but no matter where it came from people are dying from it and this place has covid patients sharing the bathroom with people that don't have covid. My family member is not it the best of health and I don't know how they would be able to handle getting covid. This place needs to quarantine their covid patients
