Brookdale Northbrook

Brookdale of Northbrook has provided a warm and welcoming environment for my dad. The entire staff has been outstanding in helping my dad to make the transition. The daily programming has helped keep my dad engaged as well as facilitate his ability to meet members of this vibrant community. We are extremely grateful that Brookdale has provided a new home with all the amenities my dad will need for his next chapter.

My mom recently moved to Brookdale Northbrook and is thriving. After losing my father 18 months ago, Mom needed a drastic change in lifestyle and at 91, she found it difficult to live on her own. Her social life, network of new friends and community at Brookdale have given her a sense of belonging she hasn’t experienced in years. As difficult as this change may be for many seniors, the staff stepped in and helped make this transition as smooth as possible. My family is forever grateful to our new Brookdale family for taking such great care of her and making sure she enjoying life to the fullest as she transitions to another lifestyle change. I am at Broodale Northbrook over six years and I am VERY glad I chose to make my home here . The environment , the staff and the residents are wonderful . I participate in many activities and they are to my liking ! ❤️👍❤️

My mom has lived at Brookdale for two years now. She is on the assisted living floor. Last night I decided to join her for dinner there and got to see it from the inside, so to speak. First, the food was delicious! And the servers were so sweet and patient. There is staff everywhere and they all know my mom (who mainly keeps to herself, on her special spot on her sofa). This past winter I was away and she fell and broke her wrist. The staff handled the situation so well and even brought her her beloved Cokes and chocolate chip cookies while she was in a rehab facility. As soon as you walk in you sense that it's a happy, well-run place. In the two years I've been visiting I have noticed that the staff is stable; it's reassuring to see the same faces all the time. I think my dad would be happy that we found such a pleasant place for my mom. And HUGE thanks and appreciation for the crew on the second floor who provide outstanding day-to-day care with grace and love.

We had a wonderful experience at Brookdale Northbrook. My father went to live there after a hospitalization and it truly became his home. Lucy, Cristina, Jennifer, Vidhu, Nidia, Victor and so many others took SUCH good care of him. It is clear that they love and care about their residents so much. The facility is clean, well-managed, and cheerful. It was definitely the best place for him to be once he could no longer live alone. Would highly recommend.
